Baby Shower Cake Recipe - 2

Below given is other the recipe for your baby's shower cake and you can bake it as unique, fondant or block shaped cakes. What else you just follow the steps for the recipe given below and bake a wonderful cake for your baby's shower.

Cake Ingredients :

1. One box Betty Crocker Super Moist white cake mix
2. Red and blue food colors. (Or you can change the colours)
3. 1-1/2 containers Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy vanilla frosting
4. 1-1/4 cups water
5. 1/3 cup vegetable oil
6. Three egg whites

Steps to Follow :

• Up to 350ºF heat the oven.
• Beat cake mix, water, oil and egg whites with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds in large bowl
• Pour 1-1/2 cups of the batter into small bowl.
• Pour another 1-1/2 cups of the batter into one of the pans.
• Stir to mix 6 to 10 drops red food color into batter in small bowl. Stir 6 to 10 drops blue food color into batter in large bowl.
• Pour pink batter into other pan and pour blue batter into remaining pan.
• Bake 15 to 22 minutes or till the toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
• Let it be cool for 10 minutes and then remove from pans to rack. Cool more for about 1 hour.
• you can also brush crumbs off cake. After that place blue layer, top side down, on plate.
• Just spread 1/3 cup frosting on blue layer almost to edge only.
• Place white layer, top side down, on frosted layer and Spread 1/3 cup frosting on white layer almost to edge only.
• Finally place pink layer top side up on frosted layer.
• Frost side and top of cake with frosting. Store loosely covered.
