  Invitation: Send your invitations in "diaper-theme", it should look like a diaper.

  Gift Ideas: It will also help to guests to select a gift; they will bring diaper gifts, this way you can save on diapers.

• Clothes Theme
  If it's a "clothes theme" guests can gift the outfits for a baby. They can bring clothes in a particular size like 3-6month, 6-9month and so on. It will help lot more to mother-to-be.

• Hat Party Theme
  Buy some hats according to your number of guests or write down about your theme in invitations so that some guests come up with their own hats. As the guests come in give hat to each one. At the end each guest should put on their hat and act out the part best suited to their hat.

• Characters Theme
  You can choose a storybook or cartoon character or a superhero as a theme. Now think about the items associated with the character that you can use for the party.

  Decoration: Use the pictures of the character and items related with it to decorate the room.

• Fairytale Themes
  Same as characters theme there are many fairytale characters. This is the most traditional theme to baby shower parties.

  For example Cinderella and Snow White for girls and Peter Pan for boys is more common. Same as character theme come up with items related to these characters and use it for party and decoration.
