Chicken Salad

  • Recipe Ingredients :
    • 4 whole boneless chicken breasts garlic powder salt and pepper
    • 1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped
    • 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
    • 4 ounces Swiss cheese, shredded
    • 3 avocados, peeled and quartered
    • Quarter cup fresh dill, chopped
    • 8-ounce package bean sprouts
    • 8-ounce can sliced water chestnuts, drained
    • 6-ounce can ripe olives, pitted and drained
    • 2 tablespoons vinegar
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 2 tablespoons orange juice
    • 4 eggs, hard-boiled and quartered
    • 1 bunch spinach, torn
    • 1 and a half -ounce jar pimientos
    • sliced 1 red onion,
    • sliced fresh mushrooms (optional)
    • Dressing Ingredients:
      • quarter cup pickle relish
      • 1 pint mayonnaise
      • quarter cup chili sauce
      • 2 tablespoons onion, grated

  • Steps To Follow :
    • Season chicken with salt, garlic powder and pepper.
    • Bake it in preheated 350 degrees (F) for 30 minutes or until done.
    • Cut into large chunks.
    • Marinate in vinegar, oil and orange juice for 24 hours in refrigerator.
    • While serving combine remaining salad ingredients with chicken.
    • Combine with dressing ingredients.
    • Toss with salad.
