- Stuffed Mushrooms
- Recipe Ingredients :
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 8 to 10 medium mushroom, firm, closed caps
- 2 tablespoons minced onion or green onion
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/4 cup soft bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper
- Steps To Follow :
- Preheat oven to 350o.
- Wash mushrooms under running water and drain on paper towels.
- Pull stems from mushrooms and chop finely.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium-low heat and add chopped mushroom stems and onion.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, soft bread crumbs, cheese, salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle the salt over mushroom caps and fill it with sauteed mixture.
- refrigerate the mushrooms up to 24 hours.
- Before serving, put 2 tablespoons of water in a shallow dish and arrange stuffed mushrooms in dish and bake it for about 20 minutes.
- Summer Tomato Sandwiches
- Recipe Ingredients :
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
- 3 large tomatoes
- 1 loaf French bread
- Steps To Follow :
- Combine lemon zest and juice, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper in a small bowl and stir well.
- Cut eight slices from center of bread loaf.
- Spread mayonnaise mixture on each slice of bread.
- Arrange tomato slices on 4 bread slices.
- Cut each tomato sandwich in half to serve.
